KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Stefan Sagmeister

Sagmeister, Inc.

Stefan Sagmeister formed the New York based Sagmeister Inc. in 1993 and has since designed for clients as diverse as the Rolling Stones, HBO, and the Guggenheim Museum. Having been nominated eight times he finally won two Grammies for the Talking Heads and Brian Eno & David Byrne package designs. He also earned practically every important international design award.

In 2008 a comprehensive book titled "Things I have Learned in my Life so far" was published by Abrams. Solo shows on Sagmeister Inc's work have been mounted in Paris, Zurich, Vienna, New York, Berlin, Tokyo, Osaka, Prague, Cologne, Seoul and Miami. He teaches in the graduate department of the School of Visual Art in New York and lectures extensively on all continents.

A native of Austria, he received his MFA from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and, as a Fulbright Scholar, a master's degree from Pratt Institute in New York.

Hashem Bajwa

CEO, De-De.

Hashem Bajwa is CEO of De-De, a product development studio that uses design and development skills to build early stage software applications and platforms. Prior to De-De’s formation, Hashem led digital strategy at Droga5, where he was part of the core team that developed the “Decode Jay-Z with Bing” campaign. Prior to that, Hashem helped build digital from the ground up at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. He began his career in communications at the United Nations.

Neil Heymann

Creative Director, Droga5

Neil Heymann is a Creative Director at Droga5 New York, bringing with him over a decade’s experience in advertising and interactive with some of the world’s most high-profile clients and agencies. Previously, Neil worked on Burger King, Volkswagen, Coke Zero and Geek Squad at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Colorado, where he was part of the award-winning teams behind global successes like Burger King’s ‘Simpsonize Me’ and ‘Whopper Sacrifice’. Neil began his career crafting international projects for top entertainment clients including New Line Cinema, Disney and Sony PlayStation at Tequila\ Australia and Amnesia/Razorfish. 

Neil was named one of the Top Creative Minds in Digital by Adweek in 2011. His work has been recognized at the highest level by the most prestigious award shows in both the advertisingand interactive fields, including Cannes Grand Prix and Titanium Lions.

Jake Lefebure

Design Army

Jake Lefebure is a Co-Founder of and creative director of Design Army serving clients including the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Verizon, GE, Marriott International, Disney, and the Smithsonian institute. He is the winner of over 50 major design awards from AIGA, American Advertising Federation, Art Directors Club, HOW, Communication Arts, the One Show and Print Magazine.
